In this episode I profess my new found love for Airbus in the form of The FSLabs A320. I also speculate about what Microsoft will do to get their market share back. Finely I spend some time wondering if being in the flight sim media game should be a paying gig.
In this episode I talk about the classic FeelThere EMB 170 and 190 and some of the challenges they had from a systems perspective. I convey my hope that V2 of The FeelThere EMB 170-195 will be a good systems airplane. I also talk a bit about multiple developers making the same scenery.
In this episode I start trying to look at the whole view of political ideas including their implementation. This change in view was inspired by an article I read on Medium.com called “Plato, radicalism, and ‘good ideas implemented badly’”by Orestis Tsinalis. Taking that perspective both socialism and democracy seem like bad ideas. Does that mean that Democratic Socialism is a bad idea? I also talk about my impending resignation from The Chico Peace And Justice Center and the consequences that may have.
In this episode I flight a battle with malaise to ponder about why we as humans have such problems going from having good ideas to having good implementations of those ideas. I also talk about the benefits of the podcast medium and ponder the concept of ethical violence. Finally, I wonder if wondering about ethical violence makes me a terrorist
In this episode I detail a Chico City Council Meeting where landlords co-opted a discussion on Good Cause Evictions. I talk about how this event has effectively killed all the other policy ideas I’ve been working on up to this point and how this may impact my professional life.
In this episode I talk about my thoughts on Microsoft Flight Sim 2020. I also briefly go over my impressions of TFDI’s PACX, Drzewieck Design’s Chicago Airports, and LatinVFR’s New Orleans. It’s a short episode. I will try to post more often.
